In vs. Out

It's Easter weekend which means it's most definitely SPRING! I can't wait to officially start wearing white (note to self: need white skinnies), hang out with my family, visit with my grandma, and see what the Easter bunny brings (no, you can never be too old for the Easter bunny to visit).

What's IN this week:

Being a boss at blogging-- Spring Break Essentials + Discount Codes!  ||  Because Josh Said So (Link Up)  ||  What's in My Make Up Bag + Discount Codes!  ||  My ONE goal in April

P.F Changs (I'd never been before Tuesday!) If you haven't been (and aren't on a spending freeze) GO! It's seriously the best thing.

Family coming to visit in the middle of the week. Half of my family is on spring break this week and they came over to my side of the lake to go shopping and eat with me! (free clothes + free meal + not being lonely during the week = happy Allison)

Running three miles. Weird that this would be something that's in, right? One of my never ending goals is to run more and I set out to prove it myself that I could do it and not die. While I didn't run the whole three miles and my time could definitely improve, I didn't die. So that, my friends, is an accomplishment.

Spending Freeze(s). Convincing myself this is "in" this month. Now accepting all donations in forms of gift cards, coffee dates, and shopping sprees!

What's OUT this week:

Thursdays that feel like Fridays. This seriously happens to me every week. I think the work week should end on Thursday. No one really gets anything done on Fridays anyway!

Macaroons. Tried them. Don't like them. Don't see what all the fuss is about. They are pretty though!

Noisy Neighbors. I may have the most annoying neighbor in the history of ever. Having loud phone conversations before 7AM and after 9PM are no bueno.

Doing the dishes. Ugh I hate it and all housework in general. It's rare that I'm in the mood to clean.

And there you have it!

Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Easter!

  2. I've always assumed if it looks REALLY pretty, it probably doesn't taste good. Like fondant.

    1. I had a Strawberry one and it tasted like a Fig Newton. Like if I'm going to pay that much for a macaroon it better taste like heaven and unicorns not like a Fig Newton!

  7. I don't even know what Macaroons are... I don't see why they're suddenly so cool.

  8. Personally, I love macarons - especially pistachio flavored ones! Though I could say they definitely aren't for everyone, haha! Props to you on your 3 mile run and spending freeze! I'm getting back on track with fitness and finances this month, too!
