This week I got some pretty life altering news and haven't known what day it was since Tuesday. It's like I'm in a weirdo limbo.
IN:
Having more free time than I ever have before
Getting to sleep late
Having the freedom to have whatever schedule I want now (aka going to lunch or shopping in the middle of the day)
Supportive friends and family (and all of my blogger friends' support)
It was actually cold this morning--FALL IS HERE!
Winning giveaways
OUT:
Getting laid off on Tuesday
The Steelers losing on Thursday
No income
------------------------------------------------
And, in case you missed it, here's what was popular post on Because I Said So this week:
When I was unemployed I had a love/hate relationship with the free time because I had so much time to focus on blogging but having an income was unfortunate but know that better things are coming your way. I am in awe of how positive you've been throughout this experience and think you're the bomb.com

It really sucks getting laid off. I just spent four months unemployed and it was a drag. Hope you're able to find something soon and you don't have to go too long without a steady income.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the job loss! But I'm a firm believer that God will open new and better doors for you (:
ReplyDeleteI bet sleeping in this morning felt wonderful! Silver lining.

Supportive friends and family - what would you do without them?! But seriously. I love my family SO much and don't know what I would do if I didn't have them close to me.

I'm sorry to hear about your lay off. I was in your shoes exactly one year ago. It feels weird at first to be home but take advantage of the time to do things that you normally wouldn't be able to...sleep in a bit later than usual, go shopping during the day (I felt like such a rebel the first time I was able to go to the mall for the first time on a weekday). LOL...enjoy the time!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about being laid off. :( You'll find something great.

ReplyDeleteSorry about your job! I know the feeling. I can't get a job because of my terrible class schedule, and I have virtually NO money!
