In vs. Out

Happy Friday! Lately, the days seem to run together, but I can still appreciate the start of the weekend. Spending most of the mornings in Starbucks to draft blog posts and apply for jobs have become my new norm--and I'm not complaining. It's actually quite refreshing!

IN:

Getting to sleep late

Spending all day with my puppy-child

The weather
(it doesn't really feel like fall, but it hasn't rained in a week and a half and it's been beautiful!)

Thinking about taking Helene's newest webinar

OUT:

Getting laid off

The job search
(For example: I'll type in marketing and jobs like "nurse" and "chef" come up)

Daytime TV

Laundry
(if you saw my snap chat--add me "aellzey"--last night, I literally just washed everything I own and now I have to put it all away--the worst)

  1. What's it like to sleep late? I've forgotten since having my son. ;-)

  2. Sleeping late...I wish my body would know how to do that. I wake up at 7 am even on the weekends and days where my mother in law has my kids and I can sleep in all I want.

  13. I'm doing major loads of laundry too and sometimes I just run the dryer once more to avoid folding the clothes for another hour. I am the ultimate lazy.

  14. Sorry to hear that you got laid off, I'm sure you'll find a new job in no time! And at least it's a nice change of pace to be able to sleep in, enjoy it while you can.

  15. Getting to sleep in late is awesome -- which is something I haven't done in forever. I'm always working and at school during the week, so I wake up super early! And I work all weekend, every weekend. But I FINALLY have tomorrow off -- which means I get to sleep in and I could not be more excited!
