It's hotter than hot these days. I've been looking for ways to help Laney beat the heat (staying inside, getting in the pool, etc.) Making Puppy Pops is by far her favorite! (similar to Frosty Paws, but way less expensive)
INGREDIENTS
1/2 TBS Honey
1/2 Tbs. Peanut Butter
1 cup of Plain Yogurt
3-4 apple slices
Handful of Sojos Good Dog Apple Dumpling Treats
DIRECTIONS: All you have to do is put the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. I put the mixture in an ice cube tray, but if you have bigger dogs, you can use a muffin tin. Freeze until almost frozen. At this point, I put the actual Sojos treats into the mixture to serve as little popsicle sticks--Laney loved it!
My favorite thing about these Sojos Good Dog Apple Dumpling Treats is that they are made with all natural ingredients--ones that you can find in the kitchen. (I can't believe I'm admitting this, but my sister and I actually tried them--they tasted like less sweet Apple Jacks)
Also, these treats are pretty small so there are a ton of them in one box! I would recommend using them as training treats or using them to make a bigger batch of treats.
This is awesome! I'm going to make these for our beloved lab. He will go nuts!
