Instagram Round Up

If you don't follow me on Instagram (what are you waiting for), you may be missing out on my super glamorous life (lol heavy on the sarcasm). You can truly learn a lot about someone just by looking through the Instagram. Here's a peek into mine!

I love how these shots came out (probably one of my favorite posts to date). You can read all about how to get this bag and other equally adorable items for 30 % off in this post!

I never specifically laid this out, but this month, one of my goals is to run 40 miles. So far, I've been running in 3 mile increments for a total of 9 miles this month. And last weekend, I cut 5 minutes off of my initial 3 mile time! Also, I've determined that I much prefer running outside than running on a treadmill.

On Good Friday, my mom treated me to a mani-pedi (I AM on a spending freeze after all) and this is my first time with a gel/shellac manicure. It's almost been a week and the polish is still in tact!

For me, this is a big deal. I have a horrible habit of picking at my nails until they are stubs. The longer polish stays on, the longer I resist at picking at them.

Over the river and through the woods, to grandmother's house we go! My favorite bag to pack when we travel!

We had a great Easter weekend. Sister selfies and peach cobbler? What could be better.

Even Laney had a blast romping around in a new-to-her yard!

P.S. Totally missing my Bug right now. Because Josh still lives at home (with a yard) and my apartment has no space, she stays with him during the week. When I come home on the weekend, I get her. Then we trade back. She's had it worse, though. When we first adopted her, Josh lived in a frat house that didn't allow animals!

A few other things to note: Yesterday marked a year that I've had my braces on, which means only one more year until I get them off (cue the hallelujah chorus). The spending freeze is getting to be very difficult and I can't wait until the Lilly for Target launch so I can spend money on non-necessities!

HAPPY ALMOST FRIDAY!

  2. I am the same way about nails! I would bite my nails all the time and the only way I could stop myself was if I had my nails painted all the time.

  3. Shellac is the way to go! I love how long it lasts. Way to go on keeping with your spending freeze - that takes some self control!
